Cosmoprof North America, held July 16-18 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, drew more than 25,000 attendees and 675 exhibitors from 32 countries.

In addition to the exhibition, more than fifty classes were offered. Education highlights included the wellness keynote, given by Joe Dispenza, as well as Karen Post’s discussion on how beauty professionals can master brand building and enlisting customers as ‘brand ambassadors’.

To foster communication among industry peers, Cosmoprof North America held two roundtable discussions in the packaging lounge area on July 16 and 17.

The first seminar on building supplier relationships included Axilone, Arrowpak and DuPont. The next day, attendees listened to panelists from Flexpaq, CBI, Grayson O and Thermafuse discuss the next generation of contract service relationships.

Next year, Cosmoprof’s packaging, contract manufacturing and private label pavilion will see changes. Contract/private label manufacturers will be placed in a designated area. Additionally, a special entrance leading directly into the pavilion will be created for easy access. Next year’s Cosmoprof North America is scheduled for July 15-17, 2007 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
